Removing verrucae need not be painful
Our new treatment is quick, painless and 80% effective
Traditionally, removing verrucae has been a tortuous and in many cases torturous process. Various
methods, including digging out and the application of chemicals, have been the norm up to this
point.
Now, at Grosvenor, however, we have adopted a new method, not available in many clinics. It is
called Verrutop, and it is painless, fast-acting and has a very high rate of success. 80% of people
experienced their verrucae clearing after no more than four applications.
With Verrutop, a chemical reaction causes the verruca to lose vitality. It changes colour, initially to a
lighter whiteish hue, and then to a much darker shade. The cells under the verruca gradually renew
until the verruca itself detaches from your foot.
Verrutop is safe for everyone from the age of 6 upwards. It should be applied by a footcare
professional, and our podiatrists, Phebe and Jessie, would be delighted to assist you.
You may need 4-6 applications around 2 weeks apart.
