COVID – 19 has provided a life changing event for so many for lots of different reasons and nothing can work the way it did. Working practices are having to be adjusted and although some of the restrictions start to ease it will not be business as usual for some time. This is due to us being committed to the safety of each of our clients, staff and families. This blog will give you an idea of how physiotherapy and podiatry services will be conducted in the first stage of re-opening.
As you are aware since lockdown we have not been able to see clients face to face, this is in line with our Governing Bodies and Public Health England’s recommendations. As the restrictions are now being eased and we have received new guidance on resuming services it is asking us to work in a different way.
As of the 1st June we will be offering, where ever possible, video consultations. However if we are unable to meet your needs, limited face to face appointments will be available once carefully screened.
Our opening hours will be Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
MAKING THE CLINIC COVID SECURE
A number of changes have been made in the clinic and how it operates, in order to be able to provide Physiotherapy and Podiatry face to face appointments. Please read carefully the changes that have been made which explains the way we are working and the measures you are required to take if visiting the clinic.
WHAT TO EXPECT
-
Telephone Triage and Video Consultations (for physiotherapy)
On contacting the clinic we will discuss with you your problem and make a decision on whether Video Consultation is appropraite. The video consultation service is the current preferred method of assessment and treatment. It is particulary useful to help those who are isolating or shielding. If your needs are unable to be met with this method then we will look at screening you for a face to face treatment.

Please wherever possible attend alone – those who attend with you will also need to be screened with the COVID-19 questionnaire for contact tracing purposes. Under 16’s should continue to attend with a parent or guardian. You will be screened again on entry to the clinic.
