Face to face assessment and treatments are now available with all the appropriate measures in place. However if your feel your not quite ready to venture out or need an appointment and want to try some self management techniques first then we have put together a list of resources from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy for different joint problems. These are a great starting point and it is important to try and keep moving as stiffening and seizing up comes with it’s own issues. Movement is medicine and some will find that their symptoms fully resolve with basic exercises. However remember you are unique and so is your problem so you may find that generic exercises and advice found online can improve the problem but may not resolve the problem. This can be very normal.
